SAS Hot Fix Analysis, Download and Deployment Tool

The SAS Hot Fix Analysis, Download and Deployment Tool (SASHFADD 2.2.6) is now available.

See What's new in SASHFADD for more information on the updates in SASHFADD 2.2.6.

SASHFADD creates a customized hot fix report listing hot fixes available for a SAS 9.4 deployment and generates a script that will automate the download of the hot fixes.

Installing SAS 9.3 and SAS 9.4 Hot Fixes

SAS 9.3 and SAS 9.4 hot fixes are installed using the SAS Deployment Manager. For more information see:

Managing Security Updates and Hot Fixes

SAS recommends installing all available hot fixes and security updates, changes to SAS software that address security vulnerabilities.

SAS Data Management / DataFlux

SAS Data Management / DataFlux patches can be accessed from the Hot Fix Download site.

Select the 'SAS Data Management / DataFlux' link from the 'Hot Fix Quick Links' section on the left.
 

 
What is a Hot Fix?

Hot fixes address software issues uncovered by customer applications. For some customers, a hot fix provides a quick solution to an immediate problem. For others, it is system maintenance. Hot fixes have been tested and are fully supported.
